I have been doing a lot of shopping at Walgreens the last couple of weeks so I thought I would share some of the lingo of the Walgreens world.
IVC - is for Instant Value Coupon or a 7 day coupon, it is the coupons you find in their
weekly add and are good for only the 7 days of the sale. This can be used in conjution with a ES coupon and a manufactures coupon
ESR - is the Easy Saver Catolog is a booklet found at the front of the store with the sales adds.
Inside are many Walgreen coupons that can be combined with the IVC and manufacture coupons.
There are a list of items that Walgreens will give you all or some reimbursement as well. This EasySaver Catalog is good for the entire month. Make sure you chekc the dates because they run from Sunday to Saturday, so if the month ends on a Thrusday the catalog will run until Saturday.
The new catalog will start a couple of days prior to the old one ending. Sometimes you can douple dip and get rebates both months.
If you choose to have your rebate sent on a Walgreens gift card you will receive an additional 10%.
Register Rewards - These are coupons usually issued by a manufacture that is printed out of a machine next the the cash register. It is a dollar amount off of your next purchase.
Example if you buy a certain item, certian amount or certian sollar amount then you will recieve a RegisterReward.
The key to using these are not to purchae more of the same item and pay with that companies register reward. If you do you will not recieve another one. If you do multiple transactions in one order you will only recieve a Register Reward for one.
Walgreens Perscritptions Savings Card - This is a card you purchase to get a discount on your perscritptions and 10 % back on any Walgreens band items.
